MELISSA WILSON, BSc, Fitness Expert

Melissa Wilson began her career in the fitness industry in 1995 while completing her degree in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. Since this time, she has participated in numerous courses and workshops to further her learning and provide her clients and participants with the most up to date information available. Melissa's background in Kinesiology has provided her with extensive experience in a variety of areas, including: Group Fitness, Pilates, Fusion, Personal Training, Exercise Therapy, as well as Program Coordination and Supervision. As a Trainer of Fitness Leaders, she has trained hundreds of individuals to become Certified Instructors and Personal Trainers. As a Trainer of Trainers, Melissa has presented various workshops at conferences throughout BC, and has also done work on a national level for Fitness Leadership program development. She brings enthusiasm, energy, and a desire to help others "be unstoppable" in whatever health and fitness initiatives they wish to pursue.

KAREN GODIN, BA, Fitness Expert

While attending post-secondary school at the University of Victoria, Karen took a Group Fitness Instructors course and her path in life changed from pursuing a degree in psychology to completing a degree from the School of Physical Education. She went on to earn a BA in Leisure Services Administration. Over the past 14 years, Karen has become a Trainer of Fitness Leaders for BCRPA, the provincial governing body for fitness, and has developed and delivered workshops and courses to over a hundred fitness leaders. Karen has done fitness training and testing for members of the military at the Canadian Forces Base in Victoria BC, and has coordinated health, fitness and recreation programs for members and participants at the YM-YWCA. Through her fitness career Karen has participated in many courses and workshops to further her learning and provide her clients with cutting edge programs. Karen's goal has always been to motivate people to find full balance in their lives and is currently working on achieving her goal with her business partner, and friend, Melissa Wilson. Together they are co-owners of Full Balance Fitness, Health & Education.
